Statement regarding Ranking Roger

In early August Ranking Roger was taken to hospital with a suspected mini stroke. We are pleased to report that Roger is recuperating at home but we are cancelling all our forthcoming live shows in the UK & USA. The Beat will return to touring just as soon as Roger has recovered but please stay tuned – the band had just finished recording a brand new album and Roger has been writing his autobiography about the early days of The Beat, more news on both of those very soon. In the meantime thank you for all your kind words and messages wishing Roger well, they are all much appreciated.
